Bleeding heart (Lamprocapnos spectabilis) are flowering plant in the family Papaveraceae, Native to Siberia, northern China, Korea, and Japan. The bleeding heart is an erect, herbaceous perennial that blooms in spring to early summer and will grow 6 to 12 inches height, 1 to 3 feet wide.
